As-salamu alaykumWhat is the Islamic ruling on benefiting from health insurance that is being paid by the company?
*Note: They do not deduct from the employee's salary*

All commercial insurance are haraam except if one is forced or in case of dharurah.And one may also benefit from it if that is done by the company.

It's not permissible to participate in or benefit from the conventional insurance policies except in a situation when one is compelled to do, e.g car insurance, or one is faced with dire necessity.
This is because this insurance is based on gambling or obscurities.
