QA 464

2 Question 464

Asaalam alaikum. Pls enlight me about entering the toilets , I learned that there no need to enter with one left leg that one can enter with any legs he desire? And there is no prayer when going out?

Answers

There is no specific authentic hadith stating that one should enter the toilet with the left, but scholars would do the qiyas of this using evidences from the prophet's way of using the right for what is honorable and left in filty things.
Again, the hadeeth of duaa after coming out of the toilet by Al albaaniy, even though some contemporary scholars regard it as weak, like shaykh A'mr

Q 464.
The Hadeeth that indicates that is weak, that is why scholars say: it shouldn't be taken as Sunnah!
But there is evidence on Dhikr when exiting the toilet.
'Aishah, [may Allah be pleased with her] said:
"When the Prophet would exit the toilet he would say: 'Ghufranak.'"
 (Sahih) Tirmidhi.Allah knows best!
